The August 1 hotfix lists multiple unlock and achievement corrections. v1.0.3 then names challenge achievements, Bigray, and synchronization of achievements earned in the demo.
A named fix is stronger evidence than a general forum assurance. Start by identifying whether your exact award appears in those notes.
Mode still matters
v1.0.2 says challenge runs cannot earn unlocks or achievements, while v1.0.3 refers to challenge achievements working. Until a current-build test separates those categories, try a normal run for a general achievement and avoid promising challenge eligibility.
What to record for a remaining failure
Record the achievement name, build, mode, profile, completion screen, and whether progress came from the demo. That creates a reproducible report without claiming a universal workaround.
